Photogtaphy & Videography

Photography and videography are similar skills but require completely different tools to make the most impactful productions. However, they are indeed interrelated art forms; both can bring tremendous value to a promotional campaign, family event, or corporate presentation. Oftentimes both are required as part of a larger project. As a skilled photographer and videographer, I can create tremendous value for my clients by having both tools at my disposal.

Videography Portfolio

I've created impactful videos for multiple clients for over 10 years. These have ranged from 10-second spots for advertisements, to theatrical introductory shorts, to half-hour long travelogues. I've also completed simple visual effects work for clients using powerful compositing tools like Adobe After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.

At the heart of any video project is first to meet with the client and reach consensus on what the goals are for the video: what is important to the client, and most importantly, what message is trying to be conveyed. Featured below is a sampling of my work over the last few years, some of which featured me both in front of and behind the camera, or work that is entirely computer-generated. I also have facilities for recording quality voice-overs, and arrangements with talented voice artists who can lend their tremendous talents to any project.

Signage video produced for a local quick-service restaurant. This video appeared on digital video displays and menu boards to promote a certain special being offered by the restaurant.
As a volunteer for the Carnegie Tri-County Fair, I produced several videos like this one to use for posting to social media.
This short introductory video appeared before movies at a local theatre. I produced a few specialized versions of this video to showcase special content as requested by the customer. This video featured video all shot by me, and I also composited the chroma-key effects of the "curtain" opening.
The same local theatre was closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and reopened in late 2021. The owner desired me to film the opening moments so that they could be remembered later, as a large crowd was anticipated and materialized for reopening day.
One of my final videos for classes at SWOSU in 2022 was a video presentation that featured extensive use of both video I shot myself, as well as stock footage. I also provided the voice-over dialogue.
I researched and presented the chosen topic, as well as produced this entire video for my senior undergraduate capstone class at SWOSU in spring 2022.
